I make these dishes by slab building. After I bisque fire and apply wax to create the wandering line design, I dip the dish in black glaze and fire everything to 2,200°F in my electric kiln. Because this dish does feature exposed clay as part of the surface design, I would refrain from eating off of it with anything that contains liquid!
